ColdFusion 8 Preview
Ben Forta came to the cccfug on May 7 as part of his Scorpio User Group Tour to present a sneak peak of ColdFusion 8. The gathering was quite crowded and very enthusiastic. Ben spoke for 2.5 hours on the following key items grouped into 3 categories:

awesome, when will this be out?
we're in a bit of a need to talk to java and .NET objects - so that'd be great once it's available.

Amy, Ben said ColdFusion 8 would be released the middle of 2007, he would not specify anything more exact. My guess is that we can expect to see this released before the MAX Conference at the end of September.
